The Organisation is established as an interdenominational Christian charitable body with the following objects: to relieve the poverty, suffering and distress of people who are in a condition of need, hardship or distress by providing, or assisting in the provision of, household goods with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Oban and surrounding areas generally but in particular those who have need of such facilities by virtue of their youth, age, ill-health, infirmity, disability, handicap, poverty, homelessness, unemployment, social or economic circumstances or other disadvantage. to undertake such other charitable activities as may be helpful to the aforesaid persons.
