1.1 The objects for which the Company is established are the advancement of public participation in sport by: 1.1.1 generally carrying out the functions of the governing body of the Sport in Scotland. 1.1.2 fostering, encouraging, advancing, promoting, co-ordinating and developing the Sport. and 1.1.3 advancing community development in Scotland by way of engaging members of local communities throughout Scotland of all ages and abilities with the Sport and related activities. 1.2 The Company's objects are restricted to those set out in article 1.1 (but subject to article 4). 1.3 The Company may (subject to first obtaining the consent of OSCR) add to, remove or alter the statement of the Company's objects in article 1.1. on any occasion when it does so, it must give notice to the registrar of companies (Companies House) and the amendment will not be effective until that notice is registered on the register of companies.
