Mountain Rescue Benevolent Fund (Glencoe)Registered

The Objects of the Charity are restricted to charitable purposes only and, in particular, to provide financial assistance at the sole and absolute discretion of the Trustees to relieve poverty and/or to preserve the good health and general well-being of a person who may be deemed by the Trustees to be in need of financial assistance, due to injury, disability or death as a result of attending a rescue call out or other mountain rescue activity, including (without prejudice to the foregoing generality) rescue training or travelling to or from the location of a rescue call out, as follows:- (i) To past or present full and/or aspirant members of Glencoe Mountain Rescue, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SC047712), having their Registered Office at Glencoe Mountain Rescue Centre, Glencoe, PH49 4HP (hereinafter referred to as ?GMR?). (ii) To persons who may from time to time assist on mountain rescue call outs at the request of a Rescue Team referred to in paragraphs (i) or (ii) above. (iii) To the immediate family or dependants of the aforementioned persons or such other person or persons who are considered to be in need of such assistance.
