The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 to advance public participation in sport. and 4.2 to provide recreational facilities, and organise recreational activities, with such facilities/ activities being made available to members of the public at large with the object of improving their conditions of life. primarily for those individuals residing within Dumfries and Galloway and predominantly through (i) the development, management and operation of sports facilities, (ii) coordinating and supporting local sports organisations which will make use of the sports facilities, and (iii) promoting sports and associated events.
