The Partnership is established for the benefit of the local communities living or working around the Moray Firth, to promote the wise and sustainable use and conservation of the resources of the Moray Firth, and, where it has an impact on the foregoing, the land surrounding the Moray Firth. The “Moray Firth” is taken to include the coastal and marine area of the Moray Firth that lies between Duncansby Head (Caithness) to Fraserburgh and the landward areas where it has impact on the Moray Firth
