OBJECTS 2.1 The club is established to promote the health of the inhabitants and community of the Moneymore District area. 2.2 The club’s strategy is aimed at over 60’s, recognising the importance of addressing social, economic and environmental influences on health, without distinction of sex, race, political, religious or other opinions by associating with the said inhabitants, local authorities, public agencies and voluntary and other organisation in a common effort to enable people to learn more about leading a healthy life, promoting good health in its broadest sense. 2.3 To focus attention on the needs of and services available for the over 60’s. 2.4 To organise such specific services and activities for the well being of people as are desirable, with the object of improving the health and conditions of life for the residents of Moneymore and district over 60 years of age. 2.5 To provide educational, recreational activities and other practical assistance for over 60’s and disabled people within the area of benefit The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
