4) The charitable purposes are the advancement of mental health, education, the promotion of equality and diversity and the provision of or access to recreational facilities. a) In furtherance thereof the charity shall seek: (1) To provide access to facilities and recreational activities for young people with mental health conditions and/or those with additional support needs with the object of improving conditions of life in the interests of social welfare and wellbeing to improve quality of life. (2) To promote understanding and improvement of the rights of those with experience of mental illness and/or mental health problems, and to combat prejudice towards individuals with such experience
