For payment or application of the income of the Trust Fund or such part of it as the Trustees shall from time to time in their sole discretion decide and for payment or application of the capital of the Trust Fund or such part of it as the Trustees shall from time to time in their sole discretion decide in Scotland or other parts of the world to or for any one or more of the following:- (1) the benefit of such cultural, educational, religious or welfare funds, societies, organisations and/or schemes as are charities at law (any one or all of such funds, societies, organisations and schemes being individually or collectively referred to in this deed as 'charities'). (2) the relief of poverty. (3) the advancement of education. (4) the advancernent of Christianity. in such manner and in such shares and proportions and at such times as the Trustees shall in their sole discretion from time to time decide.
