To support children and young people in Northern Ireland and overseas, through supplying ‘Smile Grants’ to those who have been affected by cancer either having the disease themselves and someone in their immediate family but also supply ‘Smile Grants’ to the same who are affected by other illnesses and social issues and also to invest in research into cancer that is taking place in Belfast in particular but not exclusively by: (a) providing money in the form of a ‘Smile Grant’ that can used to buy whatever they want, to bring ‘a smile for the journey’ ; (b) to make donations to invest in the research taking at the Centre for Cancer Research & Cell Biology at Queens University, Belfast or other like minded research facilities. also to other group that help to alleviate suffering in children or young people The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
