The objects of the Association shall be to promote the benefits of the inhabitants of the Locharbriggs and its environs without distinction of sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statuary authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise, the Association shall seek to establish, manage and maintain the centre for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent members.
