To benefit children and young persons in need, and where appropriate giving preference to those residing within Clydesdale District of Strathclyde Region by:- (1) the provision of residential, educational and instructional facilities. (2) the provision of loans and/or grants or advances for projects and schemes deemed to be inter alia for the benefit of children and young persons. (3) the provision of loans and/or grants or advances to other charitable bodies. (4) the provision of loans and/or grants or advances to any former pupils of Loaningdale School in need.and (5) the general furthering of the Company's stated aim in such other ways and through such projects as the Company sees fit.
