4 The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Wishaw and surrounding areas with the following purposes: The organisation’s charitable purpose is the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by providing support services for people and families affected by substance misuse. 4.1 To promote any purposes for the benefit of people suffering from a form of addiction and their families, With a combination of youth work, group work and 1:1 intervention with the addition of a 7 week structured programme focusing on asset based approach. 4.2 To identify, define and relieve difficulties and problems, social, economic or otherwise, which are common to and associated with addiction through a structured intervention programme and ongoing support for the full family. 4.3 To provide services such as information, advice, and assistance in the locating of other organisations statutory, or voluntary within the community, who provide particular expertise or aid to persons that are suffering from addiction and in recovery.
