The SCIO has been formed to benefit principally the community of Kirkmichael, South Ayrshire which comprises the Kirkmichael Community Council area (“the Community”) (see appendix 1) with the following objects: 1. The advancement of citizenship or community development 2. The provisional of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended But only to the extent that such purposes are consistent with sustainable development
