To advance the education of the public in the art of Jazz and related musics and in furtherance thereof shall seek: (1) To organise and support concerts, competitions, events, recordings, publications and research involving or related to the music. (2) To provide facilities for the performance of the music in public. (3) To promote the study, practice and development of such music. (4) To promote and provide workshops. (5) To carry on any other activities which further these objects.
