The organisation’s purpose is the advancement of human rights, understood as the rights set out within the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent UN Conventions and declarations. The organisation will do this through: •raising awareness of, and support for, human rights. •facilitating civil society organisations to promote human rights within their activities. •working for the promotion and protection of human rights in local and national law and policy making and practice •securing the enforcement of human rights law.
