4. The organisation's purposes are: Home-Start Lomond has been formed to benefit families with young children in Helensburgh and Lomond, and West Dunbartonshire with the purposes listed in the sub clauses below, hereto ('the Purposes'), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs). The Purposes of Home-Start Lomond are: (a) To provide tailored support to families and individuals with young children in a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental way (b) To protect and promote the health and wellbeing of children and their parents/carers.
