The organisation's purposes are: a) To advance citizenship and community development by enabling inclusive, non-partisan public participation in civic dialogue and democratic processes, including through deliberative methods, public consultation and participatory engagement activities. b) To advance the arts and education by designing, producing and exhibiting public artworks and creative projects that engage communities in the exploration of contemporary social, environmental and legislative issues. c) To advance education and promote civic wellbeing by combining creative practice with participatory engagement tools to identify shared values, generate citizen-informed recommendations, and present them in accessible formats to inform public understanding and policy discussion.
