HIPZ is responsible for two rural hospitals, at Kivunge and Makunduchi, where they have improved the physical conditions of the hospitals, provided equipment, developed the infrastructure and administration and provided significant clinical training. The charity runs a mental health programme and works in multiple primary health facilities.
