The organisations purposes are the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and education by: a) Promoting and encouraging the playing and enjoyment of pipe band music in the North of Scotland. b) Providing a service to the wider community by making available pipers and drummers for suitable community and other events. c) Striving for musical excellence, including using external expertise where appropriate, by exploring new methods and technologies and, subject to the agreement of members, participating in competitions.
