4 The organisation’s purposes are: (a) The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life of people in Dumfries and Galloway and surrounding communities, by providing welcoming and inclusive opportunities for social connection, friendship, participation and belonging. These facilities and activities will include, in particular, tabletop gaming (including board games, roleplaying games, miniature gaming, trading card games and related creative hobby activities), youth work and youth recreational activities, and other social and community activities, with particular regard to children and young people and people who may experience loneliness, social isolation or barriers to participation associated with neurodivergence, anxiety, disability or other disadvantage. (b) The advancement of citizenship and community development in Dumfries and Galloway and surrounding communities by providing, managing and developing accessible community facilities. making facilities available to community groups, charities and other local users. supporting volunteering and community-led activity. and creating opportunities for people of different ages and backgrounds to participate in community life.
