About GROK Cancer Movement

The GROK Cancer Movement Charity is established to bring free specialist cancer rehab training and lifestyle intervention to all people going through cancer, servicing adults 4 – 52-week post cancer treatment. This will be 12–16-week specialist programs taking deconditioned cancer patients/clients, improving a patient/client’s mobility, relative strength, ADLs, building backup their strength and conditioning, helping improve lifestyle habits, helping to support a patient/client with mental health through exercise and lifestyle change. We will be teaching patients/clients how to adopt and adhere to better lifestyle behaviours to help aid against primary and secondary cancer reoccurrence. This service we will aim to bring to everyone in Northern Ireland going through cancer and beyond. The Grok Cancer Movement will offer all services without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion by associating the statutory authorities and bringing expert specialised exercise and lifestyle intervention to people going through cancer.
