The objects of the association shall be the relief of suffering of greyhounds and lurchers, abandoned or retired racing dogs, who are in need of care and in particular by providing and maintaining or assisting in the provision and maintenance of kennels or other facilities for the reception and care of, and to aid in the rescue and rehoming of said dogs.
