The organisations main purposes are. the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. Through a wide range of activities and events, participants will be encouraged to learn new skills, to share experience and skills and simply to enjoy being out in the fresh air. Such activities are expected to provide relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
