The company is established for the public benefit, principally for people ordinarily resident within the Area of Benefit, with the following objects: a. to relieve those in need by reason of ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by providing or arranging safe, reliable and accessible transport and related assistance for people of any age who are undergoing investigation or diagnosis for cancer, receiving treatment for cancer, or otherwise affected by cancer and who experience difficulty accessing hospital or general practitioner appointments, diagnostic investigations, medical treatment, rehabilitation, hospice care or palliative care, and, where necessary or appropriate to enable access, for their essential carers or companions. and b. to advance health by reducing transport barriers, stress, and social isolation and by facilitating access for those people to the clinical appointments, treatment, care, and services described in Article 4(a).
