a. To provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation available for the residents of Glenboig and the surrounding area. The area boundaried by Glenboig Community Council (map appendix A) ('the Operating Area) with a view to improving their conditions of life. b. To relieve poverty, in particular among the residents of the Operating Area, in such ways as may be thought fit. c. To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area .
