The purpose of the SCIO is to advance religion by the provision of religious services, which may include (without limitation) the holding of songs of praise, public worship, the conduct of religious weddings and funeral services. and by owning and making available a church building to those who wish to use it for the provision of any such religious services or activities, or any services or activities which serve a purpose which is analogous to the advancement of religion, including the advancement of any philosophical belief (whether or not involving belief in a god). or to promote similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
