4 The Organisation’s purposes are the advancement of community development and environmental protection for the benefit of the community of Glenbarr, which reaches from Killegruer in the south to South Muasdale Farm in the north and extending to the Shore on the West and Arnicle on the east side of that area, and comprising parts of the following postcode units PA29 6XB, PA29 6UT, PA29 6XD, PA29 6UX, and PA29 6UZ (the “Community”), primarily through: 4.1 Promoting sustainability and enhanced local services in the Community to meet the needs of all members of the Community now and for the long-term future. 4.2 Encouraging public participation in the planning and development process, using the talents of local people to regenerate the Community and make sustainable changes. and 4.3 Developing a range of community projects in the Community, including but not limited to social and community welfare, employment, improving health and wellbeing and environmental protection.
