The objects of the Club ('the Objects') are to advance the public participation in the sport of rowing ('the sport') through the following: (a) to provide training in rowing to members and the general public including young people and the disabled. (b) to provide training and performance facilities for its members. (c) to promote and maintain the highest standards of technical competence and safety in the sport. (d) to provide equal opportunities for successful participation by all sections of the community. (e) to organise racing events open to members and others. (f) to do such things as may be considered desirable to promote the interests of rowing generally.
