The association is a volunteer led support and social group and its purposes are: To preserve and protect the good health, both mental and physical of Gay Fathers and co-parents, and those considering becoming gay fathers, in Scotland, by: I. Providing a safe and affirming space for every member, regardless of background or pathway to parenthood. II. Providing peer advice and support and access to relevant information for members. III. Providing support to and the opportunity to learn from other groups that have similar aims and objectives to ours. IV. Providing health education. V. Providing information to any agencies involved in working with gay parents. VI. Taking educational initiatives to combat discrimination about Gay parents and their children. VII. Providing opportunities for social interaction and networking.
