1 To advance the education of the general public, particularly young persons, about the damage gambling can cause to personal and family life. and to provide a training programme to volunteers. 2 To organise recreational facilities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and only in relation to activities which are: primarily intended for persons who have need of them by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 3 To relieve those in need by reason of addictive gambling in all its aspects, by provision of regular support meetings, outreach work, rehabilitation programme and recreational activities for sufferers, friends, families and carers.
