4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 to provide relief to those in need and to advance the human rights and wellbeing of young adults (13+) and adults (18+) who have learning disabilities, by providing a wide range of dating, friendship opportunities and related skills’ development opportunities through membership, volunteering and employment, thereby reducing social isolation of those individuals and addressing social and emotional needs. 4.2 The advancement of citizenship, including the rights and responsibilities of individual citizens regardless of ability or disability. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational facilities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
