3.1 The Association is established to relieve sickness and distress and to promote the benefit of, and the preservation and protection of health and well being of people with disabilities (‘the beneficiaries’) in Termonaguirc and its environs (‘hereinafter called the area of benefit’). 3.1 (a) To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of advancing education and improving the conditions of life among the beneficiaries 3.1 (b) To foster an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement among the beneficiaries and their relatives, helpers, carers or friends 3.1 (c) To raise awareness among the general public of the needs and experiences of people with disabilities in the area of benefit The advancement of health or the saving of lives,The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
