The charitable purposes are the advancement of environmental protection and/or improvement, “the advancement of citizenship or community development”, “the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science”, “the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended”, 4.1 In furtherance thereof the garden shall seek: a) To provide access to community garden facilities and recreational activities with the object of improving conditions of life in the interests of social welfare and wellbeing to improve quality of life. b) To promote equality and diversity to the public and across all activities facilitated by the garden.
