The organisation's purposes are the advancement of citizenship and community development and. the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by: 4.1 Developing and maintaining Portnahaven Church as a hub for the community. 4.2 The progression of opportunities for all members of the community to undertake creative, physical, recreational and wellbeing activities of their choice. 4.3 The advancement of resilience and positive health and wellbeing in the community by providing a wide range of activity that encourages people to come together regularly to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
