This includes organising overnight camping expeditions throughout Scotland – in “wild” and remote locations. Fire & Peace Recovery also offers a support network (for example, via social media) for those using the service: having the support of individuals in a similar situation is hugely beneficial to those in recovery. The advancement of education through the provision of guidance, support and awareness-raising activities for people affected by mental health or addiction issues, and those in a caring role.
