4.1 To maintain the hall in commemoration of those who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars 4.2 The provision of recreational facilities in order to promote the well-being of local residents, without discrimination on political, religious or other grounds, by working with local groups and organisations, and statutory authorities, for the advancement of health, education and recreation, and the improvement of quality of life, especially for the old, the young and others with special needs.
