The charity's purposes ('the purposes') are to: Advance animal welfare by any exclusively charitable means but in particular by: • Promoting acceptable welfare standards for equines (meaning horses or related animals, such as donkeys) and to prevent or suppress cruelty to them. • Providing sanctuary, rehabilitation and training • Providing veterinary care and treatment • Re-homing equines which have been abandoned, mistreated or surrendered. • Promoting gelding, chipping and the acquisition of passports for the animals insofar as is lawful and in line with accepted authorities’ guidelines.
