The organisation’s purposes are: 3.1 the relief and promotion of those in need by reason of learning disability through the provision of housing, other facilities and services to young people with a learning disability and their parents, families and carers. 3.2 the provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the life of young people with a learning disability and their parents, families and carers and. 3.3 the advancement of education for young people with a learning disability through the provision of facilities and services which will improve the nature of their lives. 3.4 The area within which the organisation will operate will be the Highland Council Area within Scotland (the 'Area of Benefit'). 3.5 The organisation shall promote (but not exclusively) its activities and delivery operations to people within the Area of Benefit who are children and young adults with learning disabilities, and their parents, families and carers.
