THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY ARE TO: (a) provide support for people and families living in Northern Ireland dealing with all forms of addiction, through counselling, training, mentoring and various advice services, all aimed at empowering and giving hope and resolution to affected people. (b) raise the awareness of addiction in our society highlighting the causes and effects and acknowledging that it is a major issue which needs to be addressed. (c) empower people with addictions by providing individualised support to help them to learn how to deal with their various life issues and thereby enhance the recovery process. (d) support and council not only the addict but those family members and partners affected by the addictive behaviour. (e) assist people in the recovery process to be reintegrated where required back into society. (f) provide a well structured after care programme to ensure that the cycle of addiction and addictive behaviour is broken.
