The Objects of the Society Shall be to promote the benefit of the residents of Edzell and Neighbourhood (hereinafter called 'the area of benefit'” without distinction of sex, or politics, or race or creed, or opinions, be associating with the Local Authorities. Voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said residents, and such other objects as may be deemed to be charitable.
