The Objects of the Charity are to promote public education and research in flora fauna and other aspects of the natural environment and to preserve the same (including the publication of the useful results of such research) and to advance other purposes recognised as charitable in English law, in particular through the maintenance and management of environmental, educational, research and cultural facilities and activities. Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
