The Objects of the CIO are for the public benefit in the United Kingdom and throughout the world: 1. The advancement of the Christian Gospel by supporting Christian mission workers, providing bibles and other Christian materials and by such other means as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide. 2. The relief of poverty by providing disaster relief support, including but not limited to through financial support to appropriate organisations and associated mission workers, and by such other means as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide. 3. The advancement of education by providing financial support for the provision of funding for teachers including mission workers teaching overseas, the provision of books and equipment and by such other means as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide.
