4 To promote the benefit of those living in Dalton and the surrounding area as designated in the membership criteria, without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions by: 4.1 Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations within Dalton. 4.2 To look after the interests of the residents of Dalton and make representations on their behalf to local or other authorities on matters of general concern through the advancement of Citizenship and or Community Development in the Dalton Area.
