- To encourage and advance active citizenship in all sections of the community through the making and presenting of radio programmes. to advance community cohesion and development across all aspects of local activity. to advance the inclusion of minority groups in community activity and to include such groups in becoming better recognised in the rural area. to encourage and promote active volunteering across all generations of the population. - To raise awareness of, and encourage participation in, the production of programmes about local and national heritage and to advance culture. - To advance education through the provision of training for volunteers of all ages, particularly young people and those with health issues.
