The Association is established to relieve sickness and distress and to promote the benefit of, and the preservation and protection of health and well-being of people with Multiple Sclerosis (the beneficiaries) and in particular to: a) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the objective of advancing education and improving the conditions of life among the beneficiaries; b) provide or arrange for the provision of various therapeutic services; c) foster an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement among the beneficiaries and their relatives, helpers, carers and friends; d) raise awareness among the general public and among health care professionals of the needs and experiences of people with Multiple Sclerosis; e) provide an information exchange centre for the beneficiaries The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
