The Association is established solely for charitable purposes within the City of Glasgow and in particular to promote the welfare and advance the education of the disabled and retired. In furtherance thereof: - (i) The provision of facilities for recreational, educational and leisure time pursuits at the Dixon Halls Glasgow and/or at such other place or places as may be decided upon. (ii) Provision shall be made in the Dixon Halls or at such other place or places that may be decided upon for physical and mental welfare of disabled and/or retired. (iii) To provide in so far as possible, services activities and care in the Community which may benefit the disabled and or retired people who attend or receive the services of the Association. (iv) To provide assistance to and co-operation with any other body or organisation, voluntary or otherwise having similar or complementary purpose.
