The Company is established to:- (a) to promote the arts, culture, heritage and science for the benefit of the public by the establishment and maintenance of a theatre, conference centre and arts centre; (b) to promote and advance education in the arts, culture, heritage and science for the benefit of the public by the establishment and maintenance of a theatre, conference centre and arts centre and to formulate and establish schemes therefor PROVIDED THAT nothing contained in the Memorandum shall be deemed to authorise or permit the property of the Company nor the income thereof nor any part of such property or income to be applied or used for any object or purpose which is not exclusively charitable.
