1) PURPOSES The Organisation's charitable purposes are: i. The advancement of public participation in sport through: a. the promotion of participation in football and other sports. b. acting as advisors in relation to the development of football and other sports. and c. the provision of recreational facilities, or, the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving conditions for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. ii. The advancement of education by the promotion of programmes and activities which have educational value. and iii. The advancement of health by: a. promoting the benefits of physical activity and provision of assistance in relation to sports related and healthy lifestyle matters. and b. promoting participation in programmes and activities designed to improve literacy, numeracy, employment & life skills and tackle social isolation.
