The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the company’s objects are:- to provide relief to people resident in the Glasgow area (and its environs) (“the Operating Area”) who are in need because of age, mental or physical disability, illness or poverty, and in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) to provide and assist in the provision of not-for-profit community transport services serving the needs of such people. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise the company shall seek to work in partnership to promote community transport at a local, regional and national level. To advance education and in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) to provide training and information for community transport within the Operating Area. To advance citizenship and community development and in particular (but without prejudice to that generality) to develop a volunteer scheme which supports all community transport provision within the Operating Area. To promote, conduct and/or support other similar projects and initiatives, which are in furtherance of charitable purposes, for the benefit of the community.
