The Company has been formed to benefit the community of the Island of Lismore ('the Community'), with the primary Object of advancing the education of the public about the history, heritage and culture of the Island. Its operating area covers post codes PA34 5U(G, H, J, L, N, Q). Where appropriate, the Company will manage Community land and associated assets for the benefit of the Community and the public in general as an important part of the protection and sustainable development of the island Community and Scotland's natural environment, where 'sustainable development' means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future Qenerations to meet their own needs.
